| Damaraland Camp |
|
| This comfortable safari camp is situated
in a remote location in the spectacular scenery of central Damaraland,
about halfway between Khorixas and the coast. It comprises of 9 en-suite walk-in tents and a main lodge house with a lounge/dining area
overlooking the Huab River Valley. The camp houses a curio shop and
swimming pool, and in the evenings there’s a campfire under
a mantle of stars. |

| Activities include game drives in
search of Black Rhino and desert-adapted Elephant, (which the area
is home to), as well as full day visits
to the rock art sites at Twyfelfontein (pending availability of private
vehicle). Private vehicle has to be booked additionally for this
excursion. Children under 12 years – on request only. |

| Etendeka Mountain Camp |
|
This camp is located in dramatic and
rugged mountain scenery and brings you as close to nature as possible.
Your host will take you on a nature walk or drive in search of
the rare and endangered desert-adapted elephant and black rhino.
Accommodation: maximum 16 guests are accommodated per night in twin-bedded tents,
each with its own bucket shower and flush toilet. |

| Hobatere Lodge |
|
| Hobatere Lodge is located in Damaraland,
about 80km north of Kamanjab on the western border of the Etosha
National Park. A 32 000ha concession area teaming with a variety
of wildlife, and the lodge also boasts its own airstrip. The accommodation
comprises of 12 thatched double room bungalows, each en-suite with
shower/WC and the main building houses the breakfast room, lounge,
bar and curio |

shop. Home cooked meals are served
on the restaurant terrace and about 300m from the swimming pool,
is a hide overlooking a waterhole
where elephants and other game are often sighted. Activities include
guided walks and game drives (day/night) in open vehicles where lion,
cheetah, leopard, elephant, giraffe, eland and
zebra can be seen.

| Huab Lodge |
|
| Situated about 51km north
of Khorixas, Huab Lodge consists of 8 very spacious and comfortable
thatch bungalows each en-suite with shower/WC and a big private terrace
overlooking the scenic Huab River Valley. A hearty cuisine, complimented
by excellent South African estate wines, is offered in warm family
atmosphere. Horse riding, a swimming pool and a natural

| Igowati Lodge |
|
| The lodge has 6 double and 6 family
rooms, with bath or shower. Family rooms sleep 4. Camp
sites are grass and equipped with electricity points. An a-la Carte
restaurant
and bar facilities are available as well as a swimming pool. You
will find the lodge on the main road, C 39, you enter Khorixas,
next to the craft market. Although in the centre of the town, it
is very private and secluded. |

| Kavita Lion Lodge |
|
| Situated an hour’s drive north-east
of Kamanjab, this small private establishment is surrounded by vast
farmlands and offers typical Namibian hospitality and farm-style
cuisine. 3 en-suite rooms, shady gardens, a small pool with a rustic
boma and a thatched lapa make up a peaceful haven for families and
self-drive
guests. Kavita has embarked on a lion conservation programme ( the
Afri-Leo |

| Foundation), and guests can enjoy
an afternoon at the project, including a visit to the sanctuary.
Activities
include viewing the feeding of the lions, bird watching, nature trails,
open-vehicle
game drives and a Himba excursion. The

|
| Mowani Mountain Camp is situated within
the Twyfelfontein Conservancy and is conveniently close to Twyfelfontein,
the Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes. Nestled between the Ugab
and the Huab rivers, the camp boasts magnificent desert scenery,
a unique variety of desert flora and fauna and fascinating geological

with a canvas veranda. The main complex consists of a reception area,
bar, spacious
dining room and a lounge overlooking a waterhole where elephants

|
| Situated in the heart of Damaraland,
Palmwag is an ideal departure point to explore the area in search
of “Desert Elephants “, Rhino, giraffe and antelopes.
Accommodation is in 5 thatched three-bed bungalows, 2
thatched four-bed bungalows, 3 thatched double-rooms
and 2 furnished lodge tents. Also available are a swimming pool
and camping facilities, with communal bathroom. |

| Palmwag Rhino Camp |
|
This is a luxury tented mobile camp
that can be easily moved if local game movements deem it necessary.
A maximum of 16 guests will have the rare pleasure of exploring this
wild and remote area in the company of the dedicated conservationists
hosting them, together with local trackers. The camp has large “meru” tents
with facilities including bucket showers with hot water
on call.
There are large populations of Hartman’s mountain zebra, giraffe,
Oryx, springbok and kudu. The predator population is the largest
outside of the Etosha National Park with over 100 lions, cheetah,
leopard, brown and spotted hyena. Bird life is prolific and diverse
with most of Namibia’s endemics present. This concession supports
a healthy population of desert adapted black rhino and elephants.
Activities on offer are rhino tracking on foot or by
vehicle, night drives and full day outings (with a picnic lunch)
on the concession. |

| Twyfelfontein Country Lodge |
|
| Twyfelfontein Country Lodge is situated
5km from the historic Twyfelfontein site, which boasts the highest
concentration of rock engravings in Southern Africa. Also in easy
reach of the Burnt Mountain, the Organ Pipes and the Petrified Forest,
the lodge offers 56 spacious twin-bedded rooms with en-suite shower/WC
and private veranda. The impressive main building, hidden

thatch, houses the restaurant, lounge, bar and curio shop. Excursions
include nature

a dolomite formation shaped by erosion, and is situated in the impressive
landscapes of the Ugab River Valley within easy driving distance

11 comfortable duplex thatch bungalows, all with en-suite shower/WC
and some including loft space suitable
for two children. |
