This small country hotel, situated
in the south of Namibia, offers 8 double rooms with en-suite shower
or bath and 1 single room with en-suite shower. Facilities include
a cosy dining room, international bar and a BBQ area where guests
can enjoy the country-style ambience and German hospitality of the
hosts. Visits can also be arranged to the open-air agricultural museum,
which is situated next door to the hotel.

of Aus and 115 km from Lüderitz, where the Aus Mountains border

| Situated approximately 60km south of
Maltahöhe on a hill overlooking remote landscapes, is La Vallee
Tranquille guest farm, offering 9 double en-suite rooms with private
patios. Activities include hiking trails and drives on the 13,000ha
farm, which take guests to interesting historical sites such as the
ruins
of a German fort built during the Nama war. |

| Activities: Good bird watching, ostrich
feeding, geological and botanical walks. A 2 night stay is ideal
to visit the new Oahera tradition centre in Maltahohe for internet,
restaurant, art shop, Nama children choir (to be pre booked) Also

| Maltahöhe lies in the heart of
a widespread farming community in Namibia's southern centre, on the
edge of the escarpment and the Namib Desert. The hotel’s 24
spacious rooms have en-suite facilities and telephones. Meals are
served in an à- la-carte dining room and guests can relax
at the bar, in the comfortable lounge or around the sparkling swimming
pool. Guided 4x4 excursions to the famous Sossusvlei and Sesriem

| The farm is situated between Helmeringhausen
and Duwisib Castle and is a convenient stopover between the attractions
in the far south of the country and the famous Sossusvlei. There

on offer include individual walks and guided nature drives in the
