Brief Background:
Global Conferences Namibia is the
result of a joint venture, entered into by two of the most successful
companies, in their respective fields.
Sense of Africa,
with 16 years experience in tourism is Namibia’s largest Destination
Management Company, and, since its inception in 1992, Global
Conferences Africa has become the pre-eminent Professional Conference
Organiser (PCO) in South Africa, with agents in East Africa, across
South Africa and now in Namibia.
As independent
subsidiaries of Tourvest, the largest tour and travel group in
sub-Saharan Africa, the joint venture is an ideal opportunity to
utilise expertise from both companies for all business tourism
requirements from incentives tours and team building to conferencing
and event management.

knowledge of Namibia, strategic partnerships in place throughout the
Country (which ensures that we are able to negotiate the best possible
rates from suppliers) and its own fleet of vehicles; which, when
combined with, Global Conferences Africa’s experience in conference
planning, event management, registration processing, budgeting and

Our aim is to utilise expertise from
both companies to promote Namibia as a new and exciting entrant to the

conferencing venues. There are also a number of pre and post
conference activities available to cater for either groups or
individual VIP’s.
